Emmanuel W. Mshelia Specialized in Microbiology-Virology, he worked with the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research & Development (NIPRD) Idu, Abuja for Eleven (11) years under the Department of Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Human Virology, where he built a commendable career and rose progressively through the ranks.
He joined Gede AIDS and Infectious Diseases Research Institute (GAIDRI)-Gede Foundation as a senior Technologist in December, 2003 and rose to the position of laboratory Manager. Having been exposed professionally to various advance technology in HIV/AIDS diagnostics, treatment and care with interest in biomedical research, he is knowledgeable and experienced in the design, implementation and management of clinical laboratory services. He attended over sixteen (16) different kinds of training workshops both locally and internationally. He currently heads the laboratory as Senior Laboratory Technologist.
